Poems
Jul 2016
If home is where your heart is, then my heart is 443 miles away.
I looked under the bed,
I looked in my notebooks.
I looked inside my head,
I looked where the monsters lurk.
I can't seem to find it,
And then I remembered.
I've never felt more at home,
Than in the presence
Of the Bluebird that found me
Again.
It's always nice to adventure,
But it's better to adventure
With someone that makes
Any place
Anywhere
Feel like home.
Bad day just got so much better.
