Independence
I am on my own.
I am not alone, though,
Which is odd.
I desperately want
To stand on my own two feet,
But could you hold my hand,
And stand with me?
I want to save myself,
I want to fight my own battles,
But it would be nice
If you had my back.
I want to be my own person,
But can you be your own person next to me?
I want to hold your hand,
For a moment,
And see if we fit
Together.
I believe
In the red string of fate.
I hope ours might
Just maybe
Lead together,
After all these years.
I AM SO CONFUSED I HATE FEELINGS
