I'm a man but many people still think my hand has to be held
What a joke that is
An adult is an adult
No matter what
I deserve some respect as one
I can handle my own
Better than you think
How do you know something you've never given the chance to see?
The logic is absent here
But it's still vibrant here
We're repeating old habits
And I'm trying to move forward
Can't do that when nobody let's you
I'm doing my way and that's final
Adjust to it or accept it
Life's been hard, but that's the way it is
I thought you understood that better than me
