Mannequin Pains
So intrigued by my lips
How could you notice the slits in my wrist
You fell in love with my mask
And couldn't taste the drugs in my kiss
Mislead by my smile
You thought those were tears of joy
Are you choosing to be blind on purpose
Or did you fall for my ‘happy’ decoy.
You hold conversations with a body
Because my soul already left me
Trying to show me what love is
But I'm completely empty.
When a girl becomes a shell…
