Free your butterflies with a kiss,
They might love before we do.
I do not wish to see a heart
Hold feasts for their young,
Nor lungs, heavy with cocoons.
And so, let go. I say,
We tend a garden here, together,
On our mouths, our lips,
And plant without a seed.*
