Mud On His Shoes
He had mud his shoes
And I wondered why
He was singing the blues
When the sun was in the sky
I wondered where he had been
And what all he had seen
So many answers could begin
Why his shoes were not clean
I'm curious to know
I'm curious to care
But it's difficult to show
Through a quizzical stare
"Momma always says there's an awful lot you could tell about a person by their shoes. Where they're going. Where they've been." -Forrest Gump
