What used to be us, is now just you and me.

I view your life through virtual windowpanes,
Every status update, every cry for help I can no longer answer,
Wondering what could be,
It was so perfect, you were so perfect,
How can a person want anyone else, after being with you?

I will wait, but what’ll happen?
Will you choose, will you make up your mind?
Am I the right guy or is it time you found another?
I’m constantly reminded of the life I once had,
The one with you by my side, as I smile and shed a tear,

What used to be you and me, was once us,
I miss it.

But mental health must come before anything,
Use time to remove negativity, get better, improve,
I can wait, I will wait, I can help, I will help,
you'll run out of fingers and toes counting the people that care,
The world is your oyster, so *enjoy every minute.
this isn't just an outpouring of how i feel, though it is that. if you happen to see this, i'm trying to convey in a format you have a deep fondness of that it's okay; i want you to get better and people are here for you through it, please remember that.
