as I tapped the cigarette, the crumbling ashes blown away by the wind brought in a myriad of memories of our love..

how you left my naked soul bruised and shattered only for you to be ravaged by another human..

and for me, love transcended from bedsheets draped in crimson moonlight to the amalgamation of ink and paper under the caramel candlelight..

yet, like a wildflower, I'd brave the unruly world again..to love people who the world considers wild..

amidst cigarettes, caffeine & a world stabbed by meliorism, life will belong to me once more..
