I reach for your hand
It's glued to your pocket
I gather some strength
Physically
Emotionally
And I pull your hand up
Im holding it tight
But it's just laying still in my grip
Like the hand of a passed out drunk
Like the hand of a cold, dead body
Like the hand of a man who doesn't want to be held
Like the hand of a man who doesn't love you back
