Before we liked boys we used to play outdoors.
Pitch a tent, tell stories, and eat s'mores.
Now we only curl our hair.

Before when we were free we'd run across the street.
Ride bikes, jump rope, and yell ICE CREAM.
Now we watch gossip tv.

I call my best friend and ask her where she's been.
She's at the mall shopping 'round with her boyfriend
And I'm shopping by myself.

She says, "Don't be a square. His brother's also here!
I know you two will hit it off; Couple of the Year!"
And I am hanging up the phone.

Why did the sun have to set?
Did we forget all the fun that we made together?
Now I can see that boys no longer have cooties
Because you're chasing them
While I'm chasing you!

Boys are NOT allowed in my heaven.
Too much time we've been spending
Trying to grab their attention.
Only girls are there for me.
My best friends are all I need,
So let's go back to before we liked boys.

Gross.
