Saccharine sorrow of stability,
Stillness of the simple life.
Suffering spectres of strife
Silently surveying the serenity,
Structured by their serpentine stares.
Soon to be struck by the strongest shards
Of salted sunlight.
Watch stone struggle,
Coming apart at the seams.
Slowly,
Surely,
Suicidally.
