saints in the flesh
not dead statues
with gospel eyes but
saints are real people
that are so full of life
imagination zeal and enthusiasm
through their
kind words joy and sweet laughter
through their good deeds and
through their good works
through their compassion
their endless humanity and
their trust and faith
in God almighty
saints are more than that
saints are
willing to bear and
carry the cross
upon their shoulders
for mankind
to be
spiritually free
is to be a saint
