They say they want to be birds.
‘Cause birds have wings
Wings they can use to fly
Wherever they want.
But no one notices
The difficulties they undertake
Every time they leave their nests.
They even don’t know that
Their nests will be there or not
When they return.
They don’t know
What’ll happen to their young kids?
No one says these birds
Have to go miles to find
Their food.
After toiling for the whole day
They’re able to feed
Themselves and their kids.
Their much treasured freedom is constantly in danger too.
Is being human that bad?
Or it is just that
We can’t show gratitude for what we are
And what we have got.
