She painted dark canvas of the night sky
With her beauty worth billions of stars.
She was a source of time dilation,
For every day I knew her felt like decades.

My life orbited around hers like a moon to a planet,
But I was merely a moon while she was a solar system.
I was an irrelevant speck of dust floating within her galactic heart.
I wish I could turn into her one and only star.
