If
Whenever I write about love it is in the conditional tense: "if"
"I think" "we would" "we could". it is all pensive.
I am not even in the friend zone, i am in a friend ditch
and i am scared she'll refuse me rope if i present this.
i can write beautiful poems and i can pen rich
Thoughts on paper, but if thats all i do, then this
is all futile like me playing Serena in tennis.
i can pay every single type of penance
but if all I am doing is being apprehensive
then does it even matter if she kens this?
I was about to write a love poem and then i was like wait you don't have any experience with real love silly. So i made one about how i don't know about it and how me writing about it is in vain... idk why i gave you the back story i sometimes don't know what to put here... k bye!

Find a Poet Not a poser, not a "it's just a hobby" poet. Find one who mumbles lines as they scramble for a pen at breakfast; who shakes their head randomly when their thoughts aren't rhyming properly;  who has notebooks stashed around the house that you must never touch.
2. Listen Savor the spoken words, for those are harder to express. Keep in mind that they can't be edited and re-written, and be forgiving when a mistake is made.
3. Read The body speaks as loudly as words on a page do. When their eyes are closed or focused on the ceiling and the fingers are tapping out syllables, recognize the unique process. Respect the need for quiet, because if you look closely, you can read the poem on their face before they write it on the page.
4. Write Write your story together. Grab hold of the pen and hang on as you move across the page of life. Sometimes you will dance across, others you will be dragged. You may have to cross out a word, or a line, or a page, but don't give up. Discouragement is a poet's biggest enemy, inarticulateness their biggest fear. So end each day with a semi-colon, because the story will never end the way you think it will, and there must be room for more. There is always room for more, more words, more laughter, more tears, more love,
When you love a poet.
Love is everything right and wrong with the universe.
From midnight phone calls because you can't sleep to
Midnight fights because you came home drunk.
From telling your crush you like them to
Telling your vows to the person you plan to spend your life with.
From spontaneous picnics on a starry night to
Surprise proposals.
From going to depths of hell for them to
going to the flower shop to buy them a rose on Valentine's Day.

But most of all
It's for anyone,
Regardless of
Gender,
Race,
Age,
Religion,
Location,
Fandom,
Fashion sense,
Music taste,
ANYTHING.

Love is for anyone.
No matter what.
I decided to take TheCreepThatLovedYou's challenge to redefine society 'cause why not.
Sunsets.

Growing up I never liked the nights, As a child it signified the end of play with the rule that you had to be indoors at dawn. The sound of ticking tremulous hands of time as you were separated from your friends as the sun wraps up in the fragrant petals of the night fell was evil. A spirit locked inside a world of silence and pure nothingness. The hot fire sparks assaulting the fragile skin of the hands over the fire at and streaks of sorrow still trace their way into my soul.

Until [God knows when] I’ve seen the beauty of colors blending together, forming a magical hue through a cheap camera lens. You guessed it. Sunset is twice as beautiful through a camera lens.

Nowadays I go sit and catch the sunset, knowing it’ll soon end. Only fair since nothing lasts forever. As darkness closes in the fun begins. I reach for your hand. Come with me into darkness.
