Grey skies loom,
Threatening oncoming turmoil.
Or, a promise of loosening
Fixed ways?

light speed steps along a daydream
coloured purple

a green flash
surrounded by blue

white bowls of rainwater
clear cleansing life

summer time in a cosmos
witnessed by insects

spiders travelling the trade winds
colonised by Man.

cradled within a Universal spin
tomorrow is a mystery
just like today
as yesterday unfurls with the stars.

my time is my own
so I freely give it away
back to the one that gave it to me

I do not wear time on my wrist
I gave that slave master the boot long ago

jumping days are over
climbing trees too

now my heart jumps;
trees planted as seed growing tall in the garden

every leaf a  'welcome new life'
I whisper 'welcome dear love'.
