the graveyard is forever filling up
headstones in neat rows

your name will be read there
along with your two dates

it may say 'poet'
or may say nothing at all

allowing silence to speak
allowing silence to be.

I do not know what makes words into poetry
what rules there are or how to follow them
I guess its all a matter of reality.

how can I best weave you to here
here where a heart beats
here where a mind thinks
here where fragility is not hidden
here where a person exists
here where a life lives
here where love could flourish.

there is a burning forest
ah but its so far away

there is a burning building
and its our planet Earth

a place a space
all are welcome
