I'm like a rusty leaf.
Scratching across the sidewalk,
ushered by the breeze.
This ones for the girl
who has cried in the corner,
for most of her time.
Let me silence your sobbing.
You alone, had silenced mine.

I am a figment of your imagination.
A product of your creation,
a mere fabrication,
your own fantastic notion.

I'm not real,
I'm not real,
I'm not real.

I felt so real, so live.
I just wanted to survive.
Let me come alive,
something for which to strive.

I'm not real.
I'm not real.
I am real.

at least I could write
when I was feeling depressed
but I'm empty now

I've never written a happy poem.
I've tried, and stopped.
It always felt fake, cheesy.
I've come to realize that I do not need to express the things that make me happy in order to write a happy poem.
I do not need to make metaphors for the joys in life.
I have joys.
I know this.
I have yet to write a happy poem.
But I feel happy.

I never wanted to love you,
love happened quite by chance.
I just wanted to be your friend,
not to indulge in a new romance.

But..then. something happened suddenly,
and before my heart and soul could know,
I came to know an amazing side of you
that caused my love to grow.

Now the tender way you touch me
I pray will never end.
You are my rock-star
my lover and my friend.

It's impossible to take my steps back
affection has become deep
I don't  expect you to be mine
but at-least I can have you in sleep.

You and I will go
Inescapable is the pain of separation
let's see what's there in destiny
And how strong is the connection.
