Poetry by MAN
Every person is a book
I read when I take a look
Through the window of the eyes
I can see through your disguise
Masquerade if that's your plan
If you need to..I understand
There are places I still can reach
bring out your diamond that lies beneath
Spirituality just one handy tool
to understanding what is true
So walk with me down this path
as we calculate and do our math
Use our failures as stepping stones
providing strength we have never known
Phoenix Rising to become anew
Shedding fears of a fool
So go ahead and take a look
Read my soul just like a book...

Bad Poem

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm an awesome writer
and **** it to you

Laughing at you
I can break all the rules
And do what I want
don't you wish you could, fools?

Repetitive rhyme schemes
are my type of jam
A bad ABCB
All the way, man

Now don't you wish you could touch this
Or tear it apart
Well **** it up now
Because it is art!
I would like this to be the first poem on my page. I like to start with a bit of satire.

Romance is dead.
He died on a cold winter night
With a bottle of whisky in one hand
And 5 missed calls on the night stand.
He died along with laughter
From red flaked lipstick, fish-net thigh highs
And broken wax on the bed sheets.
Romance Is Dead.
He died along with good mornings and i'm sorry.
He died along with warm kisses and long hugs.
Died along with wishes and rings,
Died with forever and took I Love You with him.
Romance Is Dead

A silence with you
Is not
a silence

But a moment rich
with peace

Sometimes its better to be alone
Cause sometimes it makes you who you are
Discover and learn something new
You can freely do anything without others

You can decide easily without dictated by others
Its a free choice
Nostalgic and soothe

It keeps reminding you of the classic movie from the old times
A movie that captivated your soul, mind and heart
Can touch each person's personality
With different ways and different perspective
With different style and taste
Each of us has their own world thinking

Someone who thinks they could fly outer space and go out for awhile
Someone who listens music in her entire life that makes her create a beautiful story out of it

Someone who hides feeling but had a different variety colors inside and out
Someone whose noisy but deep inside it covers the emotional side

Someone who can make you smile out of the blue
Someone who is less expect than yours and its simply amazing for you
Cause no one can say its either you
Is interesting nor me.

The lesser expectations the more it surprises you
Cause its just the beginning of the story
That you can't expect for more.

You're a beautiful mystery clad in gorgeous enigma.
You're poetry that looks good in a skirt.

There's an orchestra on your tongue, playing the sound of your voice like a melody I can't forget,
matching the tempo of the drums in my heart
and the broken strings of my violin compliments.

You are a notebook, a yearbook, a sketchbook, a burn book,
every facet of you written in swirling cursive,
rhymes and famous signatures snaking between cinnamon hair and cleverness.

You are a pen running out of ink,
bleeding dry in Barnes and  Noble Moleskin journals,
but that's okay because I have more ink,
and you can borrow whatever you want from me--
store it in the heart you stole if you're bored enough to hunt my words for the pieces.
You have the key already.

You're the first dream of the boy too scared of nightmares to sleep again.

You are the taste of honey and cigarettes on the lips of the first girl that boy ever kissed,
because she was a rebel and he needed a hero
who wore boots instead of Mary-Janes
and band t-shirts instead of blouses.

You are the rose he drew when he was bored,
an outline with potential,
mysterious, entrancing, incomplete,
not yet ablaze with the red of desire
because he was never good at finishing things.
You are a dictionary. Your picture isn't just under "beautiful."
It's under "dangerous" and "witty" and "myth"
because Medusa bowed at your feet next to James Bond and Edgar Allan Poe,
and you're too good to be true anyways.

You are a poem, a telltale heart beating inside a lesson in vengeance,
temporary only because nothing gold can stay.
You've walked past where the sidewalk ends (certainly the road less traveled by)
and come back far more darling than any buds of May.

(You are the paperback novel he read under the covers,
the flashlight only bright enough to show paragraphs,
and every new page unique in shape and form
while the text remains the same.

You are the raw words read aloud by the daring poet,
standing beneath midnight moon,
the power of the throne,
the breath of a whispered promise falling upon the ear,
the warmth of kisses on the cheek,
the passion of all hope there ever was in trust and truth.

You are the fire in lightning,
the sparkle in the snow and the glitter in the rain,
the fierceness of the wind and the gentle, soothing peace,
the blazing chill of winter and the roar of summer's heat.)

But you're still a mystery.
A beautiful,
beautiful
mystery.

The Cycle

It's an addiction
It can't be understood
In its exterior it is simplistic
In its interior it is complex

It is something that can't be understood
By those outside it
Because they don't know the highs
Or where it does take you
All those outside it can only see
Just how it will break you

But they can't see
They can't see how good it feels
The stages are easy to know
When you can follow me

Stage 1: The first date
Always the best part
The nerves
The preparation
The mystery
The first time that I touch her hand
A rush
I feel high again

Stage 2: The first kiss
Always a favorite
Because I mastered it
I take her to the perfect place
She loves it
An overlook
A stream
Nature surrounding
The kiss happens
It's perfect to her
She loves it
As do I
I feel that rush again

Stage 3: The convincing
The dating
The kissing
The sensations
All are easy to see why it's sensational
The feeling of her skin against mine
The listening to her perfect breath move her chest
In and out
In and out
I tell her I love her
She isn't sure at first
But I try harder
As we continue
And I succeed
I feel the euphoria coming in

Step 4: The love
That comfort
That security
That feeling of serenity
It cloaks me
Wraps me around
Its sky blue blanket
And lays me in
A green field
She's there too
Next to me
Feeling the same earth
Beneath us
I turn to her
Eyes whatever color
It nonetheless dazzles me
It fills me with something dangerous
Hope
That rush is gliding me through

Stage 5: The loss
Parents get in the way
She loses that feeling
I'm a *******
But either way
That feeling
That was once with her
Is gone
She walks the thin line
Performing a balancing act
Trying to find reason to be together but can't
She calls me up on the phone
Tells me how everything is wrong
I don't see it
I can't see it
Our love was perfect!
We both made it!
And now you're killing it!
We meet up
I beg but she's stands her ground
She walks up
Leaves
I'm alone
Left to sob
Yell
Get angry
That adrenaline rush from the high rises

Stage 6: The hate
The pacing
The change of thoughts
I still love her one day
I despise her the next
I feel anxiety kick in
Try my best to hold it
But can't
I call her up
Yell at her
Scream at her
Tell her that
She threw something great away
She hangs up
Blocks me
Never speaks to me again
I still keep pacing
Feeling more often guilty
Than angry
ineverwantedtohurtyoualliwantedtodowassaveyoufromanyoneelseiknowthatisaidiwantedyoutosufferbutthatsnnottrueatalliddoanything
Sometimes I still feel that hope
But it's fading
Fades fast
It's all over

My high is going down
I need to go back
And cook some more

She moves on quickly
I got her addicted too
She feels that addiction too
It draws us both in
And we can't imagine
What it would be like to leave
It is the cycle
That helps make us
And the cycle
That can break us

— The End —
