 Jul 2015 Mr Vampire
YoursTruly
Hush little baby don't you cry,
Daddy left you with no goodbye;
Thrown about as you cry and shout
You beg and cry and bleed even more,
As he furiousley throws you into the door;
Next is his bed were all your memories were made,
Where he left you to rot and fade;
You hurt so bad deep down within,
But darling his acts were not your sin.
Strolling, the clouds
Are rolling, they abound
And surely they've found
A purely new sound

But towns have found that clouds come down
In rain, to panes
Their windows are loud

With respect, they see
That without them, they'd be
Lost in the toss
Of a barren dirt sea

Erin Tommas
It's been a while since I've felt your touch.
I'm not sure if you remember.
I am going crazy;
And everyone seems to know but you.
Infinite, iridescent ribbons
Spinning out around us.

With every word you let slip,
I dare say I see every hue,
Drifting closer to me,
and you.

They speed up with every second of anticipation,
Wrapping tightly around our skins sensation.

But somehow, these mingling ties,
they cannot bind me.
instead they move us.
A deep blue undertow, your eyes,
washing over my entirety.
Bright hot Scarlett's sweetly pulling us in,
Closing the only gap left between us,
now chest to chest.
white light, tracers at your mouths content.
silver as winters first gasping breath,
shivers as you reach for me again.

Our strings of thought do not break as they should.
Concoctions of enthrall,
tangling, mending, strengthening,
as you move to my hearts rapid beat.

steel tulips
the taste of sea salt
and mint
covered skin
linger
when
i lick my lips
and every time
i whisper your name
to myself
in my sleep
i think love
is the constant
breathing in fragments of you
i think love is
keeping you
like the last chocolate
in the back of my mind
i think love is
taking pictures
i wish you were in
i think love is
your hands fitting
perfectly with mine
I need a vacuum under my desk
I've made a mess
Pulling mascara from my lashes
Letting it slip through my fingers
Tea leaves that evaded their
Somewhat dangerous fate
Being boiled and then drank
Pieces of plastic from the rim of
A bottle of 5-Hour Energy
Extra strength
Filters from cigarettes that I've cut
Because they didn't give a strong enough puff
Post-Its crumpled on their way to the basket
They sadly didn't make it
There's no reason to mourn though
They're inanimate
Paper-clips that I completely ruined
That day I had a strong magnet
I wanted to see how many I could
Unravel and line-up
Like magic
Let's debate morality
Or end-of-life finality
Let's discuss the totality
Of our finite time
Mortality
Stained-glass is splendid, though
Kneeling hurts my knees
Cathedral heights are wondrous
You must tithe and pay God's fees
Ten percent - twenty!
Please, always give them plenty
Clergymen will surely then
Be happy with their bounty
If I had to
I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask
Would you like that?
Would you like that?

And I don't mind
If you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask
Do you like that?
Do you like that?

No!

Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.

Try to find out what makes you tick.
As I lie down
Sore and sick.
Do you like that?
Do you like that?

There's a fine line between love and hate.
And I don't mind.
Just let me say that
I like that
I like that

Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.

Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love.
Die for anyone
What have I become?

Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
