There are a lot of things I want to forget
But you're not part of them.
Things that I will always regret
You're one of them.

Escapades that leave me doubting
If they ever even ended
My heart continues to feel the sting
From the story that shouldn't have happened
as you lay in the mountain pass
breaths in heavy, choking gasps
trees bleeding
restless, reckless head throbbing
tell me

who did you see?
Dedicated to Gregorio del Pilar. Idea/challenge from this guy http://hellopoetry.com/jedd-ong/.
Maybe
The falter of her step
Will trigger a
Mini tsunami.
But
There still is
The sound of gravel hitting stone
And
Brick upon brick;
Reconstruction
means
Beautiful noise, too.

She'll cause the world to
Stop and stare
Either way.
m hmm hmmhmm hmm
the tune is yours to carry
in this wounded city with its
cr    a    cked        ribcage
that is trying to hold its heart the same

stillbreathing, still breathing

m hmm hmmhmm hmm
gawing sa 'yo ang himig na ito
sa isang bayang dumudugo
kanyang tadyang may  la  m a   t
ngunit nais pa ring hawakan ang puso

humihingapa, humihinga *pa
Again, idea/challenge from http://hellopoetry.com/jedd-ong/.
There was an army of ants in the plastic plants
So I poured light through a magnifying glass
And I created a fire on the artificial grass

They scurried and hurried
with flames on their backs
Like soldiers on a hopeless plain,
searching for invisible barracks

And I sighed as they died,
because we are all the same:
Scurrying and hurrying from invisible pain
I fell
I knelt
I felt
His unfathomable grace
I will always fall but He will always be there to make me stand once again. Never give up, Be strong and don't give up, for your work will be rewarded
