Whoever,
whatever,
and wherever
you are

always keep in mind...

all clock's hands move
on the same speed.
Someone's choice between
staying still
or moving on

is what makes our
timelines' entries
diversed.

thank you
for holding me tight

in times I can't find strength
to move on the next page.

I wrote your name on a sticky note
along with the words
"I need to forget!!!"

so I won't forget
that I need to forget.

There's an ache in every ending,
regardless of how happy or tragic it is.

It's like an aftertaste next to the last sip of your fav'rite coffee,

or that twitch of pinch you feel when a familiar song plays from nowhere, reminding you of someone you once used to sing it with.

It's the aftermath brought by a long day full of thunderstorms,

the chills that linger after you've finished a novel writen by an unknown author,

the way you fail to move for holding back your tears the moment the words "THE END" rolled up on screen.

...you feel so filled, yet empty.

Oh! How my empty heart
beats and breaks
upon hearing
that familiar name

like a longing bear
alone on the cold
corner of the earth

when one by one
all glaciers break,
melting all the mem'ries
a flowing flood

unveiling all the letters
I kept engraved

on a stone
beneathe the tomb
of what I buried
to forget...

I'd keep on coming back
to that one same shore

in hopes to still
feel the prints we made
through sand

and a constant pray'r that
our Mighty sea
would sail you back to me

no matter how the wind
pulls us apart.

I often hear them say

"Better late than never."

How better that could be

for a man
who had just seen her worth

now that she's
no longer his muse.
