And being in your arms
felt like coming home
and there was no scent more reassuring
Than the sweet smell of your cologne
as it enveloped me
in sanctity, security,
as the purity of your love
set sail so gently
upon my frail, abandoned, shipwrecked
body.
Find and fill the less
Always.

It’s not little
So much more
Knock your door.

Do.

Walk by side
Wipe a tear

Grow your wings
For the good things.

Bother not you can’t be great
Being good is far better.

I have heard people say
Only if I had money
Could have done so much good.

The world is in no mood
To be good
with money.

Remember
Without spending a dime
Many a time
You’ve lit up a face
And rewarded
With an inner happiness.

And for this task
You only need to ask
And that’s the essence

Aren’t there enough in this world
That hurt me
That need me
My will
To fill.

Then you would find the answer

More than your need
Is someone waiting out there

Needing you.
Your lips are where I'd spend an eternity
tasting them like wine
again and again
until I fall and stumble, drunken

but they are only a beginning,
a place of origin and discovery
but my journey
doesn't end there, no...

I have too many miles
to travel and I
will not rest until I have
tasted every inch of flesh

though I might linger
for a moment,  between
heaven and your thighs

Ages have gone, with all the colors run
shadows of a place, a northern home
a memory in sepia, with dust upon the mantle
a woman, a face behind the veil
the evening light streams about
the room in layers, golden, yellow
how strange a glow that lights her face
and faint a smile's revealed
Please stop playing games
isn't my heart bruised enough?
have I not bled rivers
for you to bathe in?

“I am not a toy”
and when you twist the knife
I feel it

I need peace
and your song
keeps me swimming
to the deep end of despair

Please stop laughing
once you've made me cry
these tears taste like oceans
and I am more than ready
to drown in them
