Yours.
Who am I?
You know me.
How do you know?
I bare all I am with you.
All my walls have been broken.
I finally saw the best in you tonight.
A side of you I could never really see.
All because you would never let me.
I'm questioning if it's even real.
Maybe I was just dreaming.
Your eyes reassure me.
Kiss me soft now.
I know you.
Mine.
Sometimes I like to stare in the mirror.
Not because of vanity.
Not because of conceit.
Purely to see my own energy.
To look straight into my own soul.
My reflection releases me,
Reminds me this is just temporary.
I love to look at myself,
And notice something new everyday.
The days pass and I change.
I grow.
Not up or down.
But sideways.
And around.
I reflect on the past.
And even the future too.
I look in the mirror and I see.
I see.

There was just you and me.
No one could beat us,
We ran the world.
Found new adventures along the way;
I gave you my life and you yours.
Even through the dark,
We helped each other through.
The battles were strenuous,
We were strong.
Our bond had its test,
Through them we beat all.
Then that faithful day,
When you drew your weapon.
You drew then sliced it right through me.
Into my back,
Past my heart.
I can't breathe,
You can't take it back.
I can't see,
You try and fight,
For us.
But what's left,
When half of us is dead & gone.
Through every battle,
Nothing could break us.
Through every adventure,
Not ten obstacles could stop us.
But you,
You felled us.
And sitting in recovery,
Belief in the impossible,
I just can't believe.
The knife you stabbed me with,
Showed no mercy.
Even with your words,
The weapon said so much more.

Tark Wain
here is an anniversary letter
addressed to you
I think ours was last week
chances are this is past due
consider this my vow of affection
for what I write in these next 30 lines
will be my most sincere of words
even if I spoke a billion times

you are not the last thing on my mind
before I go to sleep
or the first thing
when I awake
I do not lust for you like Juliet
your Romeo I'll never be
but Romeo is dead
and I'm as happy as can be

I've loved before
and trust me it's no fun
constant musing about the future
how this one is really "the one"
it's a trial as old as
the woman who's teeth no longer function
love is love is love is...
love is much to do about nothing

and then I found you
with brown eyes and brown hair
simple as the letter k
eyes that looked but didn't stare
maybe you love me
although I hope you don't
maybe you'll think of marriage
although I hope you won't

In Conclusion
I'll bid you adieu
I am not in love with you
and that's what I love most about you

All I need is love.
Hold my hand in the park love,
Ugly singing karaoke love.
I just want to lay on your chest love,
You're the only one in the room love.
Caress you with my eyes love,
Planning our future kids names love.
Be my forever love.
All I want is your love.
