Star

Before I met you, I was a star
Pretty far away, but up close just gas

Shining by external validation and without that a black hole
Wanting to be filled with
... anything

I didnt know I could be worthy for just existing
For just taking up space, I matter

And I havent always loved myself
And I'm not sure why you do

But knowing you has been liberating
And loving you has freed me

Strange

The idea of you and I together is so strange.
Like
the idea of snow and spring,
but even so
Nature can not be helped
