My head isn't bare
So trouble i'm hiding
You assume
Under my scarf
Within my hair
Yeah, of course that's true
Because feelings i don't have
And to care i never do
WOW what some people
Sophisticated much
in wardrobe and appealing,
But how about
thoughts and some feelings?
This one is for those Muslim girls (including me)treated differently for the religion they decided to pursue and the body they decided to cover , always stay strong and never lose hope :)
i was inspired to write this poem from the song "free" by muslim singer sami yusuf { http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aTsQL42-cg }
colliding our souls
while the wind blows our hushed voices
along the ocean breeze,
look to see your glimpse passed me,
the gentle touch of your hand pushes my head to see
what your heart desires,
her vicious long brown hair wreathes with the salty air
she is what he craves
my flushed pale cheeks are noticeable to his light green eyes
he holds me with his lies
"baby, its going to be alright"
embracing your diverse vibe
I hold in my arctic breath as we wander outside
grasping the cigarette between my shivering fingers
I feel the warmth of the smoke linger
I howl it upwards
notice your fist in a clench
slugging my eyes to meet yours
I see your fragileness shining through

— The End —
