The Prana
Jordan Barrie Sep 2015
Boundless energy around us,
Stretched to snare the senses.
Shaped and bound to our life-force.
No barriers, or defenses.
Limitless interplay, front
row seats shall we say.
To astounding cosmic displays.
Consider what a day holds;~
Glimpses of magnificence
In the eyes of the beholder,
Fear not insignificance.
Take grip of your awareness
Exchanging energy,
Is inherent in us.
Throw a love curve ball. . .
Await your reciprocating shower.
those stars, they fall
forever.
They deal not in glamour.
Casually causing us
humans to stutter and mumble.
Let not, your heart labor,
Loves home-run rests
Patiently,
On your minds table.
Prana for everything,
This **** ain't no fable.

Welcome
Jordan Barrie Nov 2014
Hello there, come in .

Welcome to the world of broken rocks

Air filled with thoughts,

Inferno's of Nature.

Interwoven, ever-still flowing, making fluid resonance

Split apart, into more complex creations

Melds of clay, resided in soulful intention,

Building up life filled, so called pensions

I'd call them more, a well full of worthwhile meh -  mer - rants

Sifted through an instant blink of lives constraints.

States of one's loss in harmless consideration,

Yet alert simultaneously,

Sleeping inside awake.

Resides the content of your mind

Visions of the life you have chosen to create.

The paths walked, free or through fates. . .

To Ponder Upon Yonder
Jordan Barrie Nov 2013
Close your eyes.
Take some time,
Are you feelin fine?
Beginning to unwind...
Be there battles,
Cries of ancient pains.
These lands arent ours to claim.
Dissention, rebellions and shame,
The fatal flaws of power...
The illusions it contains.
What do you want from our fileds of grain?
Or our mineral rich soils...
Dirt cheap oil. Taking leave with barrels...
If so prepare to do battle.
Cast the lands you walk asunder,
Pay attention...catch the thunder.
Be careful once ye ponder,
Rein in your thoughts of yonder.

Lock-Boxed Thoughts
Jordan Barrie Nov 2013
You tie your thoughts in knots
Try'n to distiguish
Those needs and wants.
The place where these things
Cross,
Will determine the nature of your talks.
Undoubtedly some will shock,
At times give ammunition to others.
Allowing them to make a mock.
I say stuff the lot...
Lives too short,
Communication could rot.
Lest we pick
Our minds locked box.
