I so often wonder why
Lucy was up there in the sky
Sporting bright her diamonds
Instead of wings to fly

And how on a boat she would float
Past tangerine trees
There is something about this Lucy
That keeps eluding me

She was clearly here for adventure
And the taste of marshmallow pies
But I can't help but wonder
About those kaleidoscope eyes

And when in the newspaper taxis
That appeared on the shore
Did she get a chance to read about
The news today, oh boy

As she turned around looking into the sun
Did she have her Lennon glasses on
These are just some of the things
That have me wondering

Inside of my cellophane mind
Why was Lucy up there in the sky
Sporting bright her diamonds
Instead of wings to fly
I hope Yoko doesn't sue me over this one...
Straight from the heart of God
A servant to the masses
True to form the Truth in Love
His kingdom everlasting

Bringing into light on that cold Winters night
The Fathers plan set out to free us
Need only open your heart to do your part
Inviting in the love of Jesus

This age old battle already won
From where we stand to Kingdom come
With hope tied tight around  believers lives
Never to come undone

As you fan the flame of this Holy fire
Burning to the outer reaches
A love for all in who you now are
Giving all you have to Jesus

Drawing on His strength falling on your knees
The only way man can be saved
A helper sent to you in deed and truth
Leave it up to God to find the better way

As there is power in His Holy name
The name that's here to free us
From the heart of guilt to the face of shame
That name being Jesus

Traveler
By a breach of trust
A now lost soul
You can't get back
What the Devil stole

I long to right
The wrongs of time
To be forgiven
For my worst crime

Yet for every moment
Every memory stained
No matter how apologetic
The blemish remains

Forgiven but not forgotten
The injured heart still grieves
No matter how long you spend
  Down on your knees...

Let me show you
All the words I cannot find.
Let me write them
On your neck in faded lipstick stains.
Close your eyes.
Listen to my shaking hands.
They have a code of their own,
One that only you can understand.
Listen to them rattle against your chest.
Feel the heat of my breath
Glide over your cheek.
Listen to what it’s telling you.
Feel my teeth tug at your bottom lip.
Let me get as close to you as I can
Without losing myself completely.
I can’t say this aloud.
Just listen to my body,
Decipher the language it speaks, wordlessly.
Somewhere in this mess,
The purest love I could ever muster.
A diamond
In all of our rough.
It's getting more difficult being without him.
She's as sick of me
As I am sick of her
And of this disease
I hope there is no cure

She is all I need
Inside of my world
Never has there been a doubt
That I love this girl

In fact I am so sick
It brought me to my knees
Where it is that I proposed
Asking her hand please

Pledging her my love
From that moment out
Being this love sick
Is nothing to sneeze about

Yes her love is
What I am sick with
Hoping that I never
Do get over this

With a temperature
As high as 102
I've got myself a hardened case
The best of the love flu

I'm as sick of her
As she is sick of me
Not looking for the cure
To this love disease
Show me a man
Who is happy with his life
And I'll show you a man
Who has the joy of Jesus Christ

Where the worries of this age
In all retrospect
Never dare to compare
To the joy that Jesus has

That's the kind of happiness
We all strive to have
The overflowing joy
That is found in Jesus Christ
