I can't find the reasons, I keep asking why.
There's so much to life but we all fear to die.
Is it a gift or is it a curse?
We're so focused on success that we lose sight of our worth.

Ladies and gentleman,
there's something I really need to say.
We need to stop living for tomorrow
and start living for today.

I'm realizing that
I will always
discover something new
about myself.
Only if I can I keep an open mind
and try to find acceptance in the
things I cannot change.

I have so much more life
                                to live.
                     I cannot be afraid
         of wonder and risk.

The future is bold


         and out of sight.

I have
   big dreams

        and a  
            realistic mind.

You
     can
  only
         imagine
               the
  frustration.

I wasn't alive when he took
his last breath.
      But I remember all of his words,
And I've never been so moved.

Like the animosity seeping
from his pours
and the faint scent
of liquor on his breath;

It seems like
some things
never
fully
die.

A piece of me dies
every time
I see you.

But you're happy,
and that smile
on your face
has never seemed
so pure.

So if this is
what's best
for you,
then I'll continue
to
pretend.

I lay here, gazing at nothing but darkness,
Yet it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
And I wonder,
How can darkness be so pretty?
So full of life,
When all it is, is nothing.
And I realise.
We do not see darkness,
We are darkness.

i thought of
purchasing
a dream catcher
but the truth is
i'm not sure if I want
my dreams of you
captured.
so i'll deal with
the nightmares.
