LAZY

Late for everything,
Awkward by choice,
Zealous for nothing,
Yet always tired
LAZY

I really wish I wasn’t like this
But I don’t really have a say of any kind
Personally i think its because of depression
It’s like a crippling crutch for my mind
I try to work hard,
I really do
I know that it seems like i don’t
But you don’t know what I’m going through
Getting tired of being tired
Waiting for some inspiration to come my way
But if some never comes
Then, “Oh well” is all I can say

Lethargy is something I have
And it admittedly it’s getting pretty bad
Zebra, zebra, zebra
Yes, you just witnessed it first-hand
LAZY…

She's wonderful
Absolutely beautiful
Gorgeous, fantastic
And completely unforgettable
I look into her eyes
And I see the whole world
Not what it is
But what it should be

She not doing well
She's going through hell
Clinging to her death bed
Pain too horrible to tell
I look into her eyes
And I see surrender
Not what she deserves
But what she has

She's dead
Too much is left unsaid
What was once perfection
Is cold and lifeless instead
I look into her eyes
And I see nothing
Not what it should be
But what it is

the questions he asked held no relevance
he took notes and I looked out the window to the office
opposite

another room with cabinets
people & computers
water coolers
a broken printer
drably personalised work spaces with kids drawing and motivational quotes spat over an inspiring landscape of mountains or soft still lakes

dust settles and stays on the leaves of plastic plants

 (  disgruntled secretary,
floor two, has her mothers ashes stored in a Russian doll on her desk and a draw full paper clips and staples )

I didn't get the job
they gave it to a man who likes fat woman to sit on his face
On Thanksgiving I shall slit my wrists
My blood will be the gravy
You told me you would blow your brains out in the bathtub
You did not want me to  have to clean up the mess
What about me? The permanent fingerprints left on my heart
Brains do stain the wall
I will not eat the gravy

Be thou tender,
speak gently,
act kindly,
then I say,
deliverance is yours.

Be thou good,
affirm the truth,
lead with love,
disarm hate,
be awake,
then glory is yours.

Find the strength,
to overcome thyself,
be courageous,
you are not alone.

We know Beloved,
thy seeking heart,
those outbursts of,
a longing sigh.

Tis true,
We knoweth well;
forget not,
who We are.

O! Brother!
Daughter Supreme!
We ache with you,
in thy misty hour,
standing under,
like a warm bed.

Be you Beloved,
O! Be you...
If dreams were monkeys
They would swing on the vines
Over a landscape covered in moon

If dreams were dinosaurs
They would be prehysteria
And have two ton funny bones

If dreamsssssssssssssssssss. . .
Were continuous
They would be exclusive as TV on reruns

No one dreams small
No one dreams medium
Everyone is in on the "BIG"

But at the end of the day
All of our dreams are
the ice cream we forgot to put away
