You're a strange breed.
You look out past my street
         (when I'm fast asleep)
With the moon reflecting in the puddles
in the corner of the street,
Or, the corners of your corneas.
                             (tear puddles)
Until your vision is mottled and
your sobs muffled. Continue
to stare out your window (forever)
Keep looking until you find something
better.
I've lit more campfires than I can count.
(I've never lit one with you)
I've climbed trees; dead, rotting trees.
Skipping rocks and laying out creek
soaked socks to dry, but I've never waded in
the water with (you) my hands in the air,
hooting and hollering at the stars.
I wish each day had been ours.
(as well)

(light candles and stare at the flames)
Black dots blot out your face.
Chasing you
has proven to be
the single
most self-destructive
endeavor I've
embarked in
thus far.
My dreams spend the night with you
and mix themselves into your sleep.
They nestle up into your sweater
until you can't dream any better.
A persons greatest enemy is his mouth, but there is no sharper sword than the tongue. Master it and it will be your greatest ally
I'm bad, I'm a devilishly slimy man,
with wicked and vile intentions,
and a infernal and hellish plan.

Corruptive and pervasive, and all together sick,
unholy and despicable with ugly hellish wit.

A genius in sheep's clothing, a devil in disguise,
my words are sweet as honey but I'm planning your demise.

You'll never see it coming, in your mind I'm your best friend,
like adding sugar to a meal, it'll taste sweeter in the end.

I'll see your face in shock,
that I would have stabbed you so,
I'll grin a evil grin and stare into your soul.

your blood will spit and spurt,
and I'll watch it with such glee,
and all the while you'll know
it was all because of me.

you'll finally breathe your last,
it will fill me with such joy;
to know that you never knew
that you were simply just my toy.
I think this *** makes more sense than you ever could.
The part that thinks it wouldn't, knows of course it should.

In my drunken haze, I run naked in the rain.
The stars let me know there's no need to live in shame.
Sit very still.

I will come, if I’m willing.
And I am.

Words build up
like hairs in my mouth. Lines that wind, and stick
I try to speak,
but they will knot
and compliments come out as hacks and coughs,
not the purrs I had imagined.

I am not graceful, I do not always land on my feet.

I try to leave you presents,
things I find, things you might enjoy.
but I’m met with confused faces, tinged with distaste,
when my attempts fall dead and blood stained.

Do not touch me.

I am embarrassed by my lack of opposable thumbs, my hairy coat.
I have teeth and claws;
and I will use them in abundance.

I am cute, but not substantial, nothing heavy enough to lean on,
just heavy enough to weigh you down.

I run;
behind the couch, under the bed,
watching safely in a dark closet.
please,
Do not touch me.
