I always knew what I wanted
It was never due
All I have are my dreams to hold
Day by day fainter they grow

My heart was winter
Chilling blizzards
With no light

An unexpected sun
Scorched my soul
Brief is what it was

Winter has now returned
The memory of light unforgetable
Summer is only a thought away
