Picture yourself unemployed, your life now in bin bags
With no home, no car and no roof over you
No food no boots no one to hold onto
You children don't recognise you

Whilst high on a hillside the political powers dine upon luxury food
Sipping their champers drinking your money
And looking down upon you

Using your money to fund and support all of their business intrests
Taken your life away, nothing left today

ohh OOh Poor Lucy

Morning has come and her fingers now blue her face is dark and won't move
Her daughter can't wake her she cries "oh mummy"the coalition have killed you..
The government killed here with policy cuts and media lies each day
Cameron and Clegg Lining their  pockets as more more people die
Lucys now gone on a boat to the heavens
the ferryman took her away took her today

Lucy died in the park with TB

Poor Lucy
Oh wow
An un complementary ballad to the coalition government
Relinquish these chains of injustice, this yoke of deceit
Ameliorate your life away from tribulations and pain
Take up a spirit of greatness, welcoming refinement
Keep your heart unpretentious with each step you take
Not just for greatness, but for a life of personal fulfillment
This is not a love poem

This is not a love poem
Like most of mine are
It is more a poem of love
For who you really are

You are so sweet to listen
To my past hurting  love
That I wanted to say thank you
And give a written hug

You have responded to my poems
When you thought I was in need
And offered just to listen
If just to comfort me

I know that you're not near to me
But the distance isnt far
For two hearts, once broken
Are never far apart

For this is not a love poem
Like most of mine are
It is a poem saying thank you
You helped heal a broken heart

This is for those who have reached out to try to comfort. Please know that I have moved forward and my past love/hurt poems are from memories of the past. Thank you.
Stood lonesome beneath the old floodlight
Sweetest embrace, the Gods shone down
Forging great dramas in steel slabs
and returning home with a picture of Hollywood
I, sad-eyed fool, asked after you, and heard nothing
Though, in Benzedrine dreams I was gifted your scent
and awoke to the stench of ******* *****, and the powder dissolved
Ah, I have heard your voice
Yet you ignore mine

The great whale twisted in the alley, with biceps bulging
and tussling with hoodlums we were sent packing,
Awaiting us were the sterile walls of some grande hospital
Lined with officers, their pads and pens at the ready
Beds spinning, squinting under neon, docile
and confused

Bars and bars, from one t' other, flicking roaches into the gutter as we went
and howling at the harlots stood 'neath street lights, flickering
Poisoned in body, poisoned in mind, the spirit on it's way
Brick lanes and paddy wagons, urchins and knock-a-door run
The unshaven dealers, passing poor product to the children
and they, still in uniform, bleary eyed, satchels and sandwiches
We, tied, cuffed, stranded and free

Flags! The flags were a sight, satirical and stupefying
Patriotism always made me chuckle, it being so absurd
Yet her majesty still reigns supreme, have we no shame?
Oh justifiable mockery, tainted our streets, the names we know
How can one free one's country if one is but one person,
and how could one simultaneous be one million?

But even here in this mournful cell that layeth ten feet below, I am free, I may not know it yet, but I am...
Green eyes of envy
blue eyes of desire
hazel eyes of fury
and brown eyes of deceit
violence within a heart amplified
fool me sly serpent
mine eyes shine the same golden hues as you
an angry mixture of your poison fangs
that so stealthily found their way to my iris
thus creating what you breathe now
a toxic creation
Lovely, terrible waves of love..
Wash her up upon the shore..
What first began an enchanted trip..
Has her sea sick, beggin for "No more!"

What on earth has happened to..
The woman who would make "all right"..
She was so ****** determined..
Her ship would sail, with sight..

From calmer seas she looked ahead,
Predicting demands to come..
Willed herself to be better than..
The experience which left her numb..

The storm itself caused some doubt..
Yet she defied the blinding rain..
Hunkering down through the beast,
Believed her mission not in vain..

Capsized went her beloved ship..
In the middle of the night..
Bewildered and so fightened was she..
Without a clue nor hint of light..

It is time now to move Dear One.
She heard from within..
This ship is lost, tis not home for you.
Its now, I'll teach you to swim.

"You must be joking right??
I have not even a vest!?"
Trust this voice to lead you home.
Let go!  And I will do the rest.

Confused yet still in awe..
She reluctantly let it go..
With gulps for air, flailing arms..
Now her lesson God would show..

"I'm scared! I'm weak!
Don't leave me here alone!"
Such silence was mistaken..
For an answer she has no home.

Washed up upon the shore..
Through relief and bitter tears..
The inner voice whispered softly..
Dear One, now I've released from your fears.
And when you're across the room from me,
I will blink and kiss you with my eyelids.
I will brush my hair behind my ears,
and without touching you I will run my hand
across your shoulders, a silent reassurance.
And when you are far away, and cannot see me,
I will dream and you will know it's about you,
you will feel my body mold to yours
thousands of miles away, and you will know,
always,
that this is what friends are for. I will comfort you
with my hands, and when my hands aren't close enough,
I will hold you in my heart, delicately, like broken glass.
