Cyan*
has such a brackish mark
upon your passive visage-
it transfigures boldly, tempestuously
any average glance flung facetiously in my direction.

Dearest Rogue Element,
You invigorate all other
salient features.
Like the slip of a blunt knife,
you surge open your soul, compelling
any audacious personality to bleed through the wound of your
gaping irises.
You betroth yourself to
the Fascinating, the Creative,
and like the cascade of clearest french horn lamentation-
you stir my
emotions with a mournful compassionate caress.

And that’s the difference.
The mellow mahogany of my eyes
provides the most loving background for Light to
reflect her dancing valiance with reverent adoration.

But-
your Blue
will
forever
stride as the
arrogant foreground.
Commanding and eternally vexing, (captivating) me
with your gaudy juxtaposition
of angry intensity
and poignant serenity.

That I’d live
Each passing day
Like it’s my last.
Then I'd probably appreciate
each smile and teardrop more

One Good Day

Can you think of one good day
That you remember from your past
A day when everything went right
One you wish you could have back

That day you tell to others
When you talk about good times
The one that brings a smile
Makes you feel good deep inside

Can you think of one good day
That you wish you had again
One that was so perfect
That you hoped would never end

Take that day and share it
With someone you don't know
Give to them just one good day
And let the feeling grow

One good day can be enough
To change somebody's view
When you give someone one good day
It's one good day for you

twas a most disturbing scene
in a kitchen at Aberdeen
the details are too horrific
to disclose
let's say this
and this alone
the forensic team
had to ladle some bone
bits of dermis
were scattered around
the kitchen compound

the wife had done the deed
she'd disposed of her husband
who was a bad seed

he'd been thumping and slapping
her around
knocking her with force
to the ground
she'd contended
with his rough house treatment
for far too long
so she decided
to right his wrong

she's in prison
doing time
but it is her husband
who now tows the line

domestic violence
did him no favors

a woman was pushed
one too many times
in a kitchen at Aberdeen
gruesome was the crime
This poem is based on a true story.

Millions of them telling me everyday
She is an illusion and just don't exist,

In spite of the fuzzy winter’s heyday
How can I still see you standing beyond the mist?

Gazing at your smiling face which insists
You are neither my hallucination nor memories reminisce

As the mist got darker,
Your gleaming eyes went beyond my borders
Regardless of my beliefs, I lost you forever

But Still believes the mist will dissolve and

Where have all the days gone by?
What once was new, now is made;
Night is falling, close my eyes,

Now, the moments softly cry,
The light has clouds racing away,
Where have all the days gone by?

Fresh and verdant the gentle tighs,
Summers sweetness up in blaze,
Night is falling, close my eyes.

What once was truth now is lie,
After rains shear loss of May,
Where have all the days gone by?

I hear the hush, leaves that die,
I fear what the swan has to say,
Night is falling, close my eyes.

Awakened to such sad surprise,
Spring was such a fleeting haze,
Where have all the days gone by;
Night is calling, close my eyes.

correct me if i'm wrong
but i don't believe a book exists telling us that
fat isn't beautiful
or that women should shave every surface of their body that grows hair until it shines like a new coin

i cannot recall seeing a rule that says that
men doing sports originally intended for the opposite *** makes them gay
or that if an individual wants to wear something tight or an item of clothing that doesn't cover a lot of flesh then they sleep have to have slept with a lot of different partners and have a size 0 figure

do tell me if i'm misinformed
but i do not remember ever being told
that being different hurts people and it shouldn't happen
or that the things that separate us from the rest are flaws to be ashamed of

so what i don't understand is why we all act as if it's some kind of crime
to believe what we want
to act how we'd like
to dress in the clothes we love
to be proud of who we are
because it's not
and it shouldn't
ever
be frowned upon to do what makes you happy and comfortable in your own skin

I have become
a secondary
whisper at the back
of your
mind. You,
however, I've been
unable to peel from
my frontal lobe since
some time at the end
of June.
