A reason for life, an inspiration that won't lead me to my undoing. It has always been the very core of my existence. It is written in my blood. The life giver to a melancholic soul. One that the stars have bestowed upon me. One that I will die for. It is the heartbeat of life. It has developed me from existence to experience. Even if the world stops turning and the Sun stops burning, right here with me until the end of time, it will stay. It is the sweetest yet the saddest song I have ever heard. It is what they call love which I have found in you.
Late post, hail the glory days and the songs of yesterday.

When I was younger, I always looked upon the sky at night just to see the stars twinkle. I wondered how they do it beautifully. I wondered if there was anyone who also looked to them in a way that I did. I loved them in how they made me love them.

There came a day when I crossed paths with a girl whose eyes were veil. I saw beauty behind the sadness she projects. I saw a magnificent soul. I told her to stay with me for a while, six feet beneath billions of stars.

"I wonder if there are those who look upon the stars like I do." I told her.

"There is one, just right beside you, with all her hopes and aspirations."
She said.
Dream.Love.Fight.Hope.

It has been more than a year,
When all you hold dear,
Started to turn to fears
And brought you tears

Since that very moment, you turned sad,
You felt so bad,
You turned mad,
Never were you again, glad.

Your eyes, they were veil,
Your mind no longer set sail,
Your love was no longer a tale,
You always though you would fail

Until this very moment, that is how you feel,
You didn't heal.

He caused your pain,
You gave him disdain,
Your heart was slain,
Your emotions, feign

When you crossed paths once more,
Happiness sparked in your eyes,
It momentarily eased the pain of the lies,
It had given life to your lore

Even how hard you denied,
Or how hard you tried,
Even when you say that your heart was left out dry,
The fact that you still loved him and it was only you who knew, why.
This is for someone I hold dear who faced a storm in her life.

No
After all, the answer is "no".

It hurts to feel, it hurts to see, it hurts to be.

Every night, when darkness falls,
I settle on a soft mattress,
I savor the warmth of my blanket
And I fall asleep

I am not always in paradise,
But I am at one with my mind;
I am at one with my heart;
I am at one with my soul

I travel to a different dimension,
I walk upon another world,
A world which my mind created,
A dimension where my soul rested

In my sleep, I only not rest my body
But also all in it.
Physically and Spiritually,
But not my mind

My mind, it always run
From here and there
Until I get everywhere,
Until I get to my destination

Yet in dreams can men be truly free
There I found solitude
For in that dream, I---
I am free

I bask in the sunshine at night time,
Dreams are the measure
Of our deepest collection of thoughts
It is what our hearts long sought

I stumble in a yellow wood,
Where two roads diverged
And the is a pavement
Of the road less traveled by

I look upon the veil stars
Where I realize that
It is not their fault
But the fault in ourselves

There I found myself with someone else
Six feet under billions of stars
Hands perfectly pressing upon
And backs set right next to each other

For more than a year,
I am having the same dream,
But when I wake up,
I suddenly loose all that I envision

This always happen,
Love, I long pursued.
She's been running through my dreams

Dreams depict what we really desire,
My dreams, it may sound odd
But I have to wake up to them
And make them come to life
Dreams that's where I have to go.

Poetry is the heartbeat of life;
Each poem develops us from existence to experience.
It is the answer to all forms of strife,
For every single word written
Delivers an unspoken truth by the giver.
It acts as if it is the logic behind literature
A fire driven by the desire of every creature.
To make up the pavement on the road less traveled by,
To not just gather roses but make use of them,
To realize that the fault is not in the stars, but in us,
To not be resigned in living a life of quiet desperation.

Robert Frost, Robert Herrick, William Shakespeare and Henry David Thoreau,
They are noble men.
They are poets.
They have understood that poetry sustains life.

Poetry is a noble pursuit.
It is needed to sustain life
Thus it develops us to a greater form of humans
We are slaves to its will
For we merely not write poetry;
For it is poetry which writes us.

An Ode To Poets,
To honour them for their noble deeds.
An Ode To Poets,
To live by their noble deeds.
