The mute man spoke
  Without tongue or teeth
The deaf man heard
  Without ear bequeathed
A blind man looked
  But not through eyes
A lame man walked
  But not with thighs

So the hateful will scorn
  Where nothing is wrong
So the child will dance
  Forever- without song
Then we will pray
  Oh! Someone is there
Then we will say
  Why would he care?

Should the artist not paint
  Because nobody sees?
Should the beekeeper keep
  Without any bees?
Can't we just sing
  Even though out of tune?
Can't the church-bell ring
  On Wednesday afternoon?

I've heard the mute speak
  More powerfully than Men
I've been heard by the deaf
  Time and Time again
The blind see me better
  Than anyone with sight
The lame can walk
  With more grace, more might

The tides come in
  The tides will go out
The sun comes up
  The sun will go out
What truly will matter
When all is said and done
What truly is true
When steady time carries the gun?
Made a few changes...

SOMETIMES a child's voice crying on the street
Comes winging like an arrow through the wind
To pierce my breast with you, my baby, and
My pen is weak, and all my thinking dreams
Are mist of yearning for the touch of you.

Apathy untangled
with a disgu sting sticking to my
mouth(
probably from the alcohol)stinging my throat
which wants to sing, and no no no no I won’t
punctuate, fluctuate, or be
bee be-
cause i’ve already been
stung, wrung, and hung
and I’m still not dry.
Star Light, Star Bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
For a new beginning apres tonight

A new DAWN, a new hope
One with an illuminated scope
Halting our slide, down this slippery *****
And freeing us from this encumbering rope

The new dawn, of a new consciousness
This creation of a critical mass cognizance
This genesis, of  a collective awareness
That is filled with LOVE and fairness

Star Light, Star Bright
I see no stars tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
That I share my light with humanity tonight

I just happened to look our window at the wind singing through the trees and noticed the cloudy skies when "Star Light, Star Bright" popped into my head.  I immediately moved towards the Mayan end date and instead of having the fear of an apocalyptic end to time scenario...shifted to the idea of a critical mass of us who are able to shift humanity into a newer, deeper and more divine guided consciousness.  I wish U all well my friends as we move into this new era...Peace, Love and Light to U all.

Your memories breathe with the breath of mine
It will breathe until the rays of sunshine…
In your absence nature has become my lover
Birds become the singer
The drops of the rain have become the drummer…
And I am the only listener…
The army ants bite me instead of biting the earth
They are enjoying my flesh but I don’t sense the pain
Your memories are killing me harder than those army ants….
-Our leaders turn into colorful parrots

-Rainbows everywhere (double, triple, etc.)
with pots of chocolate gold coins

-Fish learn to fly and talk,
go on to start a prominent political party

-Aliens are real and they are the
original inhabitants of Earth, we are aliens

-Canada is a spaceship,
moon is deathstar

-We are the dream of a sleeping giant
which will soon wake up

-Superpowers for everyone

-Real life is actually an ambitious
indie film w/ lots of improv

-I'm Jesus!

-Nothing happens

-Everything happens

-A mixture of everything & nothing happens
Alternating baskets of good fruit and bad fruit
the seeds are what we're after
and all we ever wanted
was a tree

to come to time after time and
have to call our own
the fruit is sweet as wine
intoxicating as sweet time

taking us away to a different place
while the world moves past us
outside the window of the car

it never feels as fast as it is

we slow down to accomodate
the feelings we're feeling
the dreamings we're dreaming

and the road keeps insinuating itself
under our wheels

another day
another dollar

and we hope the destination is worth it

I'm just trying to find a ride to work
so I'll have something to do today
and something to drink in two weeks

I suppose that's the farthest I'll look ahead from now on

That and the party that I know will happen on
such and such a date

Two weeks spent waiting
and slaving
for a paycheck trophy
that opens up the doors
of the convenience store

And I'll move in among the crowd
Purchase an egg sandwich
and a pack of smokes
and go along with the eternal drama
for one more day

I'd love to be on the outskirts right now,
when I have to do the grunt work

I'd love to be on the edge of the galaxy
watching it all spin and spiral
from afar

Appreciating the grand scheme of things

[This is key to my existence]

and I can easily get caught up
in the stubborn sighs
and drunken claims

but at the end of the day
I sit, and I wait

for the master plan to reveal itself

for the chance to say hello
to the person I think I am

for the chance to fall in love
just one more time

for the ocean to swallow me up
and tell me it's okay
to feel the way I feel
and that everything I do
is for the best

and I'll be nurtured by waves so sincere

and I'll be sure of myself for one more day

and I won't **** up the master plan
with incoherent human ramblings
on destiny and the way things have gone
and will go in the future

Do me a favor dear,
don't listen to a single thing I say
because I don't know a thing
and I know it

Just rock me to sleep so gently. . .

So slow that neither of us notice
the motion of the earth
spinning through space

So slow

that everything stands still

and I can finally rest

Our soft lips forgive
holding funny untouched thoughts
tightly between tears
My clock, my watch,
I watch my clock.
The whip, the chains
The weight, the lock.
No time to lose,
I lose my time.
Wish I could take
The time to shake
and break this watch of mine.
