Moments afore

Happy is my world
Love my people
Yet ,
When Words on the wheel
Redundant
Elusive, they feel
I feel alienated with self

Life’s busy
Too Many chores
Listen to my music
Remembering loved ones
Barely making calls
A Recluse
Have I become one

Footmarks deep in fissured sand,
Tidegreen takes all.

My back flat
On my comfy bed
Staring at the
bare ceiling,
wondering
how many lives
Can be saved
if we simply
Master how to
love ALL

Slips of paper,
lines desperately written
before they are forgotten
the ink silenced;
hidden.
left to breathe,
gathered with others
growth of meaning
the fortunate ones remain,
disassembled,
realigned and set firm.
These words,
the chosen silent ones,
fixed and shared
hold power to be heard
when read
our thought's expression,
our passion.
Do we choose the poems
or do they choose us?

Ang agwat, ang layo,
Ang distansya mula sayong puso,
Ano ba ang mga kayang hahamakin,
Para sa munting damdamin.

Ipapaalam, ipagsisigawan,
Ilalahad sa kahit anong paraan,
Pabulong man o pasulat,
Buo't walang kulang, walang daglat.

Itinitibok ng puso,
Nahalo na sa dugo,
Mga katagang "mahal kita",
Dumadaloy sa'king sistema.

Utak, may ibang mga kataga,
"Sana ngayo'y kasama kita",
Hinihiling ng bawat selula,
Ang iyong haplos, ang iyong kalinga.
