Our minds?
Underdeveloped.
Our common sense?
Nonexistent.
Our emotions?
Regnant.
Our hearts?
Easily broken.
We are the Teenagers.
We are considered,
Stupid
Emotional
And weak.
Yet if we fail as a teenager,
Our lives will be nothing
We will not attend college,
or get a degree
or get a job
or acquire a steady income
We are young
We are hostile
But most of all,
We are scared.
Failure means oblivion
Free all the teens.
Before we crash and burn.
And you will be the driver who crashes us
And you will be the person who lights us aflame
Free all the teens.
Please.
My tumblr URL is free-all-the-teens.tumblr.com and people have been asking about it. I feel the significance is best expressed here. As a teenager, there's nothing I fear more than the future.

There is so much talk of what teens do wrong
I think it is better to focus on what they do right
They often study late trying to get good grades
So many teens behave well, some have jobs and school
Some are too busy to focus on what others think is cool
Some are phenomenal writers and have such insight
I read so many poems from them on this site
I think they should get some credit for the good that they do
I met some teens in my community when they volunteered
I give the teens that do right a cheer, I wish to recognize you for what you do!

Teenagers are scientists
They experiment often
And stay up half the night
They analyze the theories of the opposite ***
And try to tell what statement would evoke what reaction

Teenagers are the real scientists
Because when they mix too much stuff together
They are constantly blowing things up

I am teenager and I want to be loud,
I am a **** and I **** around.
Smoking villages, smoking towns,
Teenage girls keepin me aroused!

**** nine lives I've only got one,
Got problems bro? "I feel bad for you son".
****** pop lyrics till the day is done,
****** teenagers already think they've won!

World is their oyster? More like a clam!
All the weirdos with their over done glam.
Sheltered sadist couldn't give a ****,
Girls so jealous of the Lady and the *****.

Smokin, smokin peace to all,
Relaxing freeloaders ignore all my calls.
Chill brother the world is just a big ball,
Getting throw into the sun like a glass vase to the wall.

Don't forget me! I'm the eyes.
Seeing all these strangers caramelize.
Suffer, suffer let the pain rise,
Karma gonna see to your demise.

Voices get quieter,
As I watch  them get higher,
Smiling so big, new furnace buyers.
I sit alone scared and tired.
Back in my day it was my day.

***** dreams from magazines,
Filthy ***** and no other rules,
A generation who are out of luck,
But we don't care, no we don't give a ****.
Concentrating on identity,
Make-up bags and vanity,
Liquor bottles on the floor,
But we'll do it again because we want more.

Drug scares, alcohol,
red lights, fancy cars,
Money, what's that for?
We are living a lie,
We are living a lie.

Cigarettes, twenty in a pack,
Jack Daniels cooling in a glass,
Bad behaviour, that's how we do,
Give us a warning, we'll be laughing at you.
Late night movies, Triple X,
Red lipstick smudges on the neck,
Fifty pound notes scattered on the floor,
But we won't pick them up because we don't want them no more.

ASBO's, misbehaved,
Cop cars, underaged,
Manners, what are they?
We're the bad teens in town,
We're the bad teens in town.
Sorry if it is a little intense. Inspired by the song Saturday Night by Natalia Kills :)

We dance
And we laugh
And we sing
And we smile
We don’t give a ****
What’s cool, what’s in style
We’re odd and we’re weird
Abnormal, you say
Well I hope and I pray
That’s the way we would stay
We’re all teens in love
With ourselves, with each other
We hang off each other
Like sisters, like brothers
“Grow up!” they say
“You can’t be this careless!”
We ignore them, we know
Today is our day

teenagers are like a contradiction

they hate being criticized, but yet they're so quick to judge everyone else
they preach about doing the right thing, yet always choose to do the wrong

I guess what I'm trying to say is; teenagers ****
