When the sun goes down
we need a light
so we burn our bridges down

And holding each other tight in fright
We know we cannot go back
because all our bridges are down

. . . . the sun has gone down
but a full moon of love is rising
we will see our way forward

I won't look back if you won't
there is no turning back
are you with me ?

The bridge burning away to yesterday
too hot to hang onto . . . ouch !
Let it go for today
lemon yellow sun
through the cool white morning mist
on the woodland lake
bird song like flowers bursts out
above the mutter of ducks
whiffs of breakfast and coffee
come from the crackling campfire
and I feel one with it all
as the day begins afresh
with dawn's absolution
bright and full of hope

did you not know my name

when you called me.

stupid.

did you not know my name

when you left.

i know your name, how to spell it,

and will remember it

I go back to that place

Through the green door
Enter the red brick house

Mikhu is still the little fairy
My eyes look for
And still my shyness
Forces me to look away
In her mother's presence

In the faraway attic
She furtively cooks me a meal
We make love
That brush our skin faintly

When I come out
She stands at the green door

Then upon the here
She is no more
55 my first address from memory, wonder if sowed the first seed of romance.
The words will come
when you're sound asleep
And you've lost it all
and have nothing to keep

When your mind is shallow
and your pain is deep
And your eyes resemble
the clouds that weep

The words will come...

Born
A heart clenched
Words stack on my throat
A mortal slowly fading into dust
An echoing dreaded thought "This is how you'll  be remembered"

day after wretched day I cling to existence
A glimpse of hope that darkens away
A fragile life filled with poignant thoughts

Tears  hidden in a smile
Reminiscing a day long dead
A speck of laughter
'That's a sound I've forgotten'

Enticed into slavery
a life I loathed, but longed for

Gasping for more air
anything,
at least I get to breathe before demise
a certain fate

Sometimes  dreams are better than  reality
In dreams I don't suffocate
On the weight of my actuality
I don't  experience a reciprocating sad story
I am the hero, not the villain

But, this heart has been diced
Tricked  into illusions
of a compliment and a potent smile

a deceptive story of a stitched heart
long forgotten
