Me and miss Iris ina dance hall. She got swerves where she curves.
Fat reggae beat rattling windows and walls..skankin on the upbeat rub a dub grind.

Pop-reggae in my brain
Fan buzzing in my ear
Music down the hall...
Which should I focus on?
Born Robert Nesta Marley on February 6, 1945
In nine mile, St.Ann
Emancipate yourself from mental slavery none
But ourselves can free our mind
I grew up on that prophetic message and philosophy
And it never left my soul or mind
You have left a legacy
World renowned
This dreadlocks man left his mark
Permanently

I believe you were before your time
I was not yet born
When you departured
But your music was my friend
I was built on your roots
Something music lacks today
Your words emanate so powerfully
That builds faith and tear down injustice
It inspire greatness

I remember the man who chants words of ball of fire
Hitting beyond anyone’s imagination
Or comprehension of his God given talent
He has touched hearts from Jamaica to America
Europe to India to Africa all over
His music is worldwide
It’s like a life’s guide
Whether ball head or Rasta man
Bob Marley music lives on
I have yet to see someone like him
His legacy continues with his sons and daughters
With every Jamaican
His message was deep, spiritual and philosophical
To the soul and mind.

raudha
sweet, sweet mellow
you can't help but to feel yellow
with a tune so catchy,
you can never catch yourself feeling moody

an enchanting beat
complete with bopping heads
feeling like you're at an island
sipping to the scenery away

everything seems calmer
with the world feeling much kinder
a sense of peace
oh, this is just the right release
listening to some reggae tunes really cures

Well I’m laughing and I know I
have a choice
static is, and static likes the noise
things may pass so up you shouldn’t dwell
static burns and static likes the smell

all the bee’s are dancing in the air
kiss the grass and I haven’t got a care
it’s funny how the world, it spins so slow
why it does I surely do not know

purple is the color of the sky
love is the answer to the question “why?”
it’s funny how a life, it grows so fast
time may tell but time will never last

A def musician
can't enjoy his song.
A blind painter
can't admire his work.
If that's true,
then I'm not a poet.
Just a reggae boy imitating...
making a fool of myself.
Cafe's napkins never record
my moments of inspiration.
So what am I?
Am I a poet,
or just a island boy?
I care not for title....all I know,
I'm in love with poetry.

The truth be told
Hello, my name is Reggae Reggie, and this is my confession.

I am a Reggae mon. My life is Reggae.
I love being a boombastic island boy, slouchin', couchin', and enjoyin' a splif of Reggae love.
I spend most of my time in my home, listenin' to dank Reggae.
Reggae always calmed my mind, until it told me to **** her.
I never would've don it, but sometin' changed.

Reggae

Reggae told me she was a Reggae sham.
Listenin' to screamo on the down low.
That ****. What a freak.

Reggae

I was mindin' my own business, lightin' that sweet, sweet Reggae ******,
Next thing I know, my hands are around her neck.
She begs for Reggae mercy.

Reggae

Next ting I know, I'm in my Reggae basement, blood pourin' all over me.
From her lifeless Reggae body.
The smell of a dank mornin' fills my house.
I love it.

Reggae

I snap out of it.
Realize what went down, downtown.
It wasn't me. It was Reggae.

**Reggae Made Me Do It.
The confession of a true Reggae lover
I am not whole.
We are all missing a piece of our true selves.

Reggae M.D. is here to save the day.

My soul was cold and empty.
Now, my emptiness is filled with a green warmth.
An earthly glow.

My sight was blackened by the falsehood of reality.
Now, my sight is filled with the truth of happiness.
Empathy in motion.

My taste was enveloped by a shroud of insignificance.
Now, my taste has been healed by the light of sweetness.
The shroud unveiled.

My hearing was entangled with the hatred of the recent generation.
Now, my head is filled with Reggae.
Reggae is love.

Reggae M.D. has caused my life to blossom.
Akin to that of the noble durian plant.
A smelly fruit with hidden talents.

Reggae M.D. saved my life.
I am the patient of Reggae M.D.
Here is my tale.
