Far away

inside and out

Alone in my pain

cant scream or shout.

Wish I had a person

that i could call

spill out my heart to

anytime at all.

So many disappointments

too many misses

so much loss

not enough kisses.

Wish there were memories

of happy things too

not just losses

and feeling blue.

Tried to do it right

make dreams come true

just sad memories

when i am with you
Sometimes no matter how hard i try, it just won't come out right

Everyone should have a place in this world.
Whether you're goth, nerdy, or a preppy girl.
But where do you go when you don't belong.
Everyone and everywhere you turn is wrong.
Why can't we be accepting, to all human beings?
We're really not all that different, even though that's how it seems.
So don't leave out the kid with glasses and braces.
Don't shun the teens with acne covered faces.
There is so much damage little words can cause.
Just stop pointing out everyone's flaws.
I don't feel like i fit in anywhere. I'm too dumb for the nerds, too shy for the crazies, too lame for the cool kids, and too awkward for the older kids. This is the one place i can find people like me.

Into my coffee cup, I stare deep.
In retrospective thoughts.
Seeking a sermon of belligerence, delivered by a pauper from a pulpit.
I leaned over the font in the the fair weather church.
Splashed my face with water most holy.
I hope nobody saw me.

I read from the the white board the words of the hymns.
All I could see was poetry.
In deep contemplation,
Sat in a world of coffee cups and societal dregs.
Listened to the vocalists, as they sang out of tune.
The old ladies in Sunday best frocks and curt Sunday hats.
Fellas in crispy white suits with jackets and ties on.
There's a man my age maybe.
Each week drags his lads in reluctantly.
The vicar stands at the front.
His dog collar's too tight.
His voice is so hoarse someone get him a drink.

He's reeling the same spiel each week.
Week in, week out.
Preaches of parables and gospels entirely.
I think I'm falling asleep.
God help me...I need to stay awake.
Pass me another coffee please.
I never go to church x

Do you know what happens to the teeth of children salvaged by the tooth fairy.
They are carried away in a velvet purse.
A vermilion scarlet purse with golden drawstrings.
And so the story begins.
~~x~~
The tooth fairy is a tiny soul, but she flies incredibly fast.
She wears a dress of silver and a tiny little diadem.
She sports the wings of a dragonfly.
Diminutive.
Dainty, she's  much too small.
Much to small to be seen, by the unsuspecting naked eye.
Too big to be snatched by passing birds, so now you you know.
~~x~~
She carries her precious cargo, to the ice floes near the fjords.
And there she is greeted by the ice queen.
Whose name is Matilda.
She has been building a new ice castle, in which her family dwell.
~~x~~
It isn't finished yet you know.
She cares not what colour your teeth are.
As long, as they're not holey.
Holey teeth let the cold in.
~~x~~
Chilled wind whistles around her old arthritic neck.
Her kids took over the construction.
The buildings nearly finished.
~~x~~
The tooth fairy, whose name is Christina.
Dropped of yet another batch.
Sadly the naughty children have not brushed as the should have done.
A batch of broken teeth delivered.
My goodness how Christina shivered.
~~x~~
She thought she'd ask me to drop you a line.
To remind your children to brush well every time.
Matilda smiled at Christina.
She said" thank you my dear"
"For this winter I may freeze."
So please, please brush your teeth.
You really really should.
She said she'd find it really swell.
Hole less teeth will keep Matilda warm and well.

Autumn bringer of fallen leaves.
Brings instead bare naked trees.
Watch them yearly as they freeze.

I am not an old woman.
I don't live in a shoe.
I had four children,
But I still don't know what to do.

Click, clock, wiz,twirl
The cogs begin to hustle
As they spin and swirl
filling the daily bustle

Moving the packages from here to there
Repeating  the daily hurry
Fixing them up everywhere
To erase the masters worry

The cogs repeating and teaching
Taking them from the clutter
With the powerful arms, reaching
Stopping with a stutter

They stuff them, paint them, move them
Teach them, fight them, carve them
They fill them, clutter them, rush them
Shove them, push them, test them

As they move the silly gifts along
Making them perfect for the future
It make takes years, maybe not too long
To form the perfect structure

And when the packages are all done
They will be shipped off to the store
We're they will be free to run
And the factory won't be needed more
Please comment I would love to hear your interpretations of this poem

Sweetest sensation of blindness
Washes over my sight
As I gaze upon your soulless vessel.

Victorious, the transparency that
Allows for my spectacles to see
Beyond.

I look at you sitting here,
Only arm lengths in front of me,
Yet I cannot SEE you.

As if you no longer exist.

The preacher said
he was better
than the taxi-driver
because he showed
people, with all his words,
the way to Heaven

The taxi-driver said:
*"You might show them
the way to Heaven
but I show them the way
to God -
for everytime I start to drive
passengers start to pray
and they pray all the way
And I don't even have to say a word"
