We are as unconditionally loved as much as the one loving us has the capacity to unconditionally love themselves

Forgiveness
is like
blowing on
dandelion weeds
Into the air
let it blow* Go

We tread within the depths
of a tumultuous sea
Sometimes against the current
fully aware we cannot see

Each wave tediously drains our spirit
but know the tide will soon retreat
where the vastness of abundance
will ground our weary feet

It isn’t churning within an ocean
where our purpose has meaning
It is reflective contemplation
when our wisdom takes the lead

Forever adrift in uncharted waters
not meant to be confined
attuning to the circle of life
we transform soul, body, mind

I’ve come to know
That this much is true…
I am a living ghost,
Weighted by
Invisible rusty, chains
And cursed as if
Crossing over
To another life;
Walking through
The city near the old hospital;
Crossing the street,
Something feels
So, familiar here.
As if a portal,
Only I can see;
But, to where?
It draws me near.
Moving forward, falling back, moving forward, falling back;
A pendulum swings between both eyes,
Hypnotically.
Small glimpses of heaven
Brought to life in this one;
I chose to separate from it;
Yet, it will always
Be there waiting
If I make the choice
To give my entirety to
The spiritual side.

I am human and flawed though.
I am scarred a sinner.
I am holding heaven while creating Winter.
This poem came to me tonight a couple hours after waking from a dream. I took a nap and usually I'm not a napper but was exhausted from not sleeping much the night before and was drenched in rain from my walk home today, took a shower, turned the space heater on, had mashed potatoes and meatballs, and then passed out to a meditation video playing only to awaken with one of my furry friends laying on me (Raven cat).  This poem just came to me like most do.  It is difficult to explain, but relates to some spiritual experiences I've had and the "tug and pull" involved with becoming closer to the light and then falling back to human and material world.  The hospital I mention is one I would walk past on my way to and from work over the summer, and every time I would get the most haunting feeling as if I had been there in another life.
A pulse could hush the feel of skin
as it runs peaceful, always on the move.
There is an inside outside
need to breathe,
frequent release,
from all that’s smooth.

There is one in every shade,
wafting through dreams of joy and fear, not taken.
In a playground where you can’t see,
how the eyes of truth
exhale a sacredness,
unshaken.

Serenity weeps
as it looks upon the waves
that pull you in without chains.
While an echo finds contentment
on the lips of imagination,
gone insane.

On the beaches of your mind
you have wings,
playing the lead role of a play.
Would I known the wars-a-waging there,
I wouldn’t have fed passion,
a single day.

Nature has divine qualities
Beyond national divides
So heart enfold immortal love
Where one sees mountain dance and move

In this do love has no color
Skin pigment shouldn't be honor
For all bears reddish clot
As we tread on earth path

So soil of time embraces our body
As the enlived soul transpired to the sky
All become one in a starky heaven
Where no divide and rule leaven

Only unending peace it brings
Shrinking hearts with joy and unending smiles
As they commune in glows of divine instinct
For the greatest commandment is love

As bird fly above
So cloud of hate gives love as chance
Embracing one with will of divine
So our earth become an undying paradise

I have felt the ripples
of predestined change
Some crashing like tidal waves
upon my desolate plane

Others a delicate trickle
through this narrowing gorge;
complex and understated
in its methodical purge

Both deliberate in the upheaval
and churning of the soil
change that brings inner balance
to mind, body and soul

I’ve swum against their current
dragged to murky waters below
tumbling in the turmoil
of my urgent need for control

Now cast upon this rocky shore
panicked and alone
I must surrender to the journey
to find my way back home

I welcome the soaking of soles
as I intend to surf each wave
Immersing myself into its flow
I become the ripples of change

My son always surprises me...
and is way more brilliant
than I ever was... especially at that age.
Out of nowhere the other night he says
"You know we are all connected" and I say
"How do you mean?"
I can see the wheel just a turning in his pretty
little head and he says "we are related...all brothers
and sisters in this world." I agree with him and say "so
why do you think everyone fights so much?" and
without missing a beat he says "because they haven't
figured it out yet" <3
Happy Friday to you all!! :)
There comes a time in every life,
when shadows form from dust;
And ideals seek to be renewed,
before they fade and rust.

So many feelings left submerged,
like oysters crowded in the bay;
Can profit well from sweet release,
into the mist of ocean's spray.

As voices' resurrected rhymes,
in hymns of Nature's essence;
Their inspiration carries forth,
to hearts seeking spirits' presence.

A coastal chill awakens all,
who gather for the missive;
While dappling stars in amber light,
spell out each truthful vision.

And mindful of the world sublime,
all shadows leave in vain;
As faithful souls' reflections,
revive rhapsodies of falling rain.
