Donna
Eager horses ran
along sandy shores , hunting
there masters daughter

Behind a big rock
she lie limp and cold , pining
for her long lost love

Her fathers temper
erupted like volcano
spilling words of hate

Her future already
decided , her mer-prince chosen
weakens her sad heart

She lies looking at
bluest sky , remembering
when she first met him

Her heart bloomed flowers
Diamonds sparkle in her hair
Her fin glittered stars

Her rosy lips like
spring pink blossoms petals
yearns his sweet kisses

Unknown to father
her unborn child heart beats
near her tender womb

She felt strong arms pull
her up , her weak body slumps
over horses saddle

Into the ocean
her cries echo upon waves
seashells lay on beach

Hoping one day her
love will return , so she waits
in her own silence

The moon shines brightly
The sun glistens on ocean
The stars sparkle lightly

Holding her son in
her arms , conceived by true love
Gives her strength to live
Just made up this story just being creative with imagination **

take me
to the
space where
the  magnets of
                  our souls
rise up in mad thunder
sadness pushed
right out of stratosphere
a tidal wave rush,
       no warning--
as flames seep
through our skin
the burn cleansing
those cracked cuts
                          of glass,
searing granules of pain
that foam up
             from our pasts
and our wounds
get so pumped up
with love
       they bloom exotic
into
      floral entities
curious and strong
offbeat shapes
of undefined texture-
yet they suit us,
each throbbing petal
      intoxicated in
endorphin glow,
         softening as
tender eyefuls
of kisses embed
themselves in
our torrid earth

I will wrap my tendrils
                       around you
I will carry us, freshly seeded
   through these aching,
whipped-up winds
I will follow the arcs
  of aurora borealis
         beatific crystalline
I will let the wings beat
fast and full,
as they are meant to
I will release the
quicksand haze
of heaviness
that sometimes consumes us
and unravel depths
of the chaos within
In the meantime
just underneath,
a mere scratch
   under surface
a width of a molecule
from the pulse of skin
roars the breath of
            eternal blaze
etched in the silent layers
of your
              tattooed gaze
inked upon my essence
           in ancient runes
carved upon my heart
my quivering thighs,
a bond sealed in blood
and lingering sighs
Under dark rocks
rays of prismatic
                     rainbows
burst forth
unexpectedly,
        in phosphorescent miracle
release us from
our caged-up fury
Liquids morph into solid,
still iridescently fluvial
I reach out to you
pour fire
       in your veins,
for you are
      my Light
ebullating our souls
in healing trance
through the
       restless echoes
of
      night

Some nights you still
cast your shadow like
dice, always coming up
snake eyes, and I dream
I am watching you stare
at the camp fire, the moon
parting your hair, high
in the mountains growing
silent and thirsty not saying
a word until a bird comes
from nowhere, and lighting
on your wrist to drink from
your palm while you stroked
its throat; I could have sworn
your finger was on a trigger.

South by Southwest
The lightning crackles
Like a rattlesnake rattles
The sun burns weary
evaporating the teary
The soul unfolds in sin
squeezing life out of wind
Stay down upwind
of my ginaceous grin
My favor is South
always South . . .

Gidgette
Do you recall, that song?
The one we danced to nightly,
With our bare feet in the dew covered grass?
How the cicadas sang for us and crickets played the music
The frogs would sing base
Sometimes the rain would provide the beat
Fireflies were our spotlights
Stars, our spectators
The breezes played the leaves to add subtle background
To that decadent song the nights played
For us
Our song
Cicada Song
