If
All flowers would cease to bloom! Nightingales would sound as crows !
My lips would only resemble graveyards bearing nothing but dullness,
The skin on my flesh would be pale- as the blood of love would be drained from mine heart.
The sun shan't rise and -
the only showers would be the rains from mine eyes
If he were to to be sad

so obvious the mistake
the ordered disorganization

the summation of a man's life
in an ampersand -
a logogram connection
tween two words,
finally, properly sequenced

error then trial, then error then trial

perception - my life is an endless trial
punctuated and worsened,
periodically pierced
by errors
made of your own free (not really) choosing

"whenever confronted by a fork in my road,
I always chose wrongly"

and aye, here's the rub
the same mistake made repeatedly

example prime:
falling in love is just another way of saying
gonna end badly

and you constant cravenly confess
to yourself the ending unbecoming cause
you can read the handwriting on the wall
for your specialty is

*only love poetry for dummies
shivering
shadows
of lingering fingers
fulfilling... culminating
this coil of mortality...
muted mystery
sought

bewitching
he runs his hands
ravishing desires...
beautiful thought

harbinger to eternity
he holds your heart
within ethereal
grasp

longing for
languid lethargy
breath becomes
your last...

blackest kiss
transcends bliss
faded flowers known

towards the light
in your flight
to heaven
to God's

throne

glory glitters
all around
you're jaw
is opened
slack!

Jesus says,
"... it's not your time...
my child, you're going

BACK!

I'm the Lover of your soul.
do not covet Death...
he will come when
I allow...
for now, in me rest..."

so, now, you are
caught by Him
back to earth
returned

you have to wait
for divine fate...

*another lesson learned.
This was written for a friend.
I know the style changed toward the end... but I promised this poem
and wanted to complete it
Her internal fire
is bright enough
to light up the dark;
she can turn the night
into day,

It is hot enough
to warm up your heart;
she can instantaneously thaw
the ice-cold frost
away.

By Lady R.F. (C)2017
Somewhere in a strange land
An unknown heart throbs for me
      Etching an amorous graffiti
On the blank walls of my mind
Where ever I am, I feel a pair of eyes
Fondly surveying and scanning me,
Speaking to me in silence
And keeps me awake in the night
I feel it all, I hear it all
Filling me with a sweet ache!

When night birds croon in the woods
And their mates answer the serenade,
When the moon begins her somnambulistic walk
And light beams percolate through pine needles,
When a hundred eyes open in the blue heights
To watch over the sleeping Earth,
When the whistle of a train is heard far away
And its music wanes into a monotonous drone,
When the rooster makes his first clarion call
Breaking the serene silence of the night,
When glow worms float in darkness
Like cruise ships over the sea,
When night gales shake the slender coniferous trees
And wind whistles among their leaves,
When sailing clouds blind the stars
And the night turns into an ebony shade,
When the opening Jasmine secretly exults
In her own exotic scent,

Sitting in my dimly lighted room
I draft this message of love
Pouring all my warmth into it
Thus emptying my love laden heart
That blazes with the fire of love
And encode it in cryptic script
To be mailed to you, my love!

Oh, it might take much time
Better it be a whispered endearment
Sent through this perfumed night breeze
That shall carry it from this end to that end

So kindly leave
your window open!
