What a lie.

I continue to write,

But I know it's not true.

The blissfulness of life had to be you,
You made my world turn,
You gave me butterflies when no one could
You gave my life purpose

If it were only true.

She looks into my eyes
and sees heaven

I look into hers
and see nothing.

She says she loves me
With her heart in hand,
I say it too,
but squeezing the blood out as much as I can
