And butterfly colors

Of loves long lost, love found
A poem is your speaking soul
A silent cacophony of sound
Poetry is from your heart
On subjects so diverse
Metaphors and cliches
Formed into stanzas and of verse
I don't mind about how you write
Of the subject in your mind
You are the sole creator
And your words cross space and time
