the problem is I can't.
I can't trust anyone.
I have issues going across railroad tracks without making sure once, twice, three times that a train isn't coming.
when I muster up courage to look in a full body mirror, which isn't often, I check my reflection five times to make sure a scar isn't visible.
when I read ten word poems, I count each and every word seven times.
so why would I trust him when there is no proof to check nine times?

Can you remember HOPE ?

wisdom

It is an OLD COMMODITY

There is only one CONSPIRACY

THE CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE

( that's my theory )

Love is a shared reality that
One lives for
(And dies for)

How's that high school thing comin along?

Gettin good grades?

Gettin laid ?

Sharing reality?

His dog died,
and that’s all there was to it.
Except it wasn’t.
Those words in between,
the missing of a friend,
the times relived;  companion
dog that did him in.  Joyful.
Bit his heart and made him write
such words so right,
that I went home
and kissed my dog
and played with her in the garden.
And we both lay down in the dirt,
and will again tonight, and every night.
Until she sleeps.  And I with Daisy.
All because his dog died.

Ignore me
Ignore me so I know how you really feel
Ignore me
Ignore me so I don't get too attached
Ignore me
Ignore me so it won't hurt as much when I say goodbye
Ignore me

I said I'd meet you tomorrow

But that tomorrow never came

I thought you'd be okay

But life is just a game

It was foolish of me

To think that you would remain

Because everyone dies

Everyone is mundane

You lived a good life

You lived long

In the end that's all that matters

So I shall not mourn

You taught me what strength is

That's how I became strong

*"And though you are dead and gone, believe me

Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on."
Written for my grandfather who passed away on September 22nd 2013.

The quote is from a song called Welcome to the black parade by My Chemical Romance.
Well         I'm    counting on you
I'm calling your name

What does Death look like?
Just look around

Ain't nothin else here
All love is fake

Pretending that we don't know
That we don't see!

That everything might somehow
Turn out okay

I'm        counting on you
To remember your faith

Look up!
It's a blood red sky

Don't tell me
You       Caint
Tell Truth from Lie

If you ain't fixing to live
Ya must be trying to die

Counting the days
Dreaming the nights

Might as well set the story down right
