i find myself surprised when i cry
and it doesn't last forever

I don't know if I'll want this tomorrow,
But today, I want to love you forever

Tangled thoughts
Flooded eyes and a runny nose
I have so much to say but no words are close ...

This love is explainable
because i can't explain it
Believe me, i've tried.

Do not fool youself into thinking that
at this moment
You have a clear understanding of Love
Nor that you need to.

The flavors of love are too complex to digest
Until tasted

Do not fool yourself into thinking that
At this moment
The flavors of Love experienced is all that there is.
There is so much more.

The best flavors taste delicious, are nutritious, are dependable

Enjoy the buffet
Don't get sick.

I'm falling
and I trust to catch myself at the bottom
If you don't

In all my poem reading,
I haven't been able to relate to a love poem.

Until tonight,
I always thought the writers were exaggerating.

Yet, this feeling of connection is remarkable.
I suppose I would need a strange poem to describe it,
too.
