She shares
my pillow.
We wallow
just so
through the morning
doing nothing.
like two flowers calm and still
absorbing light on the windowsill.
Fingers of vine
upon the bed they entwine.
Limbs placid and loose
all urgency cease.
Some just see a sunflower
others see a masterpiece.

I've been sleepwalking
For my own sake
It's part of a scheme
To make the world end
An insidious scheme
I don't quite understand

I've been talking to strangers
They know their place in time
I just follow hints
And hope for a long night
Fall into my footprints
It'll be quite a sight

Once we reach the summit
Over the valley and beyond
From then on it won't be long
Before we see the whole world split

I've been known to roam around
They won't tell me why
All your efforts unnoticed
Have left me feeling unalive
I'll save you all by accident
An accident I won't survive

Once we reach the end of it
On a great hill looking down
I'll turn our meanings upside down
Until another sun is lit
Until the green dawn over mirror hill

i love you

not one to one
but everything
that ever was

souls touch
connected
by a deep connection

to something
other
than
self

you,
or i
everything
we ever were.
Cold nights earth becomes
A cosmic cutlery drawer
Lovers neatly packed

anxiety comes as a haywire mind
a situation in your head
worlds away from everyone
words unsaid
scared to be anyone, much less yourself

but most of all
it comes
and it never really leaves.

arms
attached
to  benches
aim to let go
the satellite kite
that bounces left
and right like trance music
                     a swing dances
                     on my dendrites
                     that hold on
                     to your memory
