The Father of the Earth awoke,

And gave a gift to each of his sons.

The first was knowledge,

So that they might triumph.

The second was will,

So that they might rage.

The third was hope,

So that they might endure.

And his sons gazed on high to ask,

"Why?"

And the Father was silent.

For no answer could justify the pain that would be his final gift,

So that they might see what it is to be alive.
Purpose.

I feel like my life is stuck on Caps Lock.

What a disgrace.

All I want is to click Backspace.

I don't want to leave a trace,

Of the footprints in my past.

I just want a smooth life,

Where I can laugh.
It explains itself.
Silver clouds
Summer rain
A change of pace
in quarantine.
I look beyond,
majestic skies
I long to wander
the great outside.
Summer rainshower from my window is a quick reprieve from the monotone of quarantine living.
